Drops 101 at BikeFest
Ready to start sending instead of rolling drops? Or are you stuck on how to progress to larger or faster drops? Join us for a 2-hour group lesson to learn how to send drops safely at BikeFest at Horseshoe Bike Park on Saturday, September 14!
Options:

Meet-up: Meet at the StokedMTB tent 15 minutes prior to start time, ready to roll with your bike, full face-face helmet and lift pass.
This session is designed for beginner and intermediate level riders that want to start sending drops instead of rolling or avoiding them and seeking guidance to progress beyond the small drops they’re comfortable with.
What to Expect:
Technique and timing for sending drops with feedback and tips from experienced instructors.
Compensating for variations in size, speed and shape of drops.
Small group sizes for optimal learning and feedback opportunities
What You Need:
A mountain bike suitable for downhill riding, in good working order (disc brakes, knobby tires wider than 2”, and either full suspension or hardtail with suspension fork)
A lift pass for Horseshoe Bike Park (not included)
For your safety, a full-face helmet is mandatory for this lesson.
Mountain biking shoes and pedals (flats recommended, clipless if it’s your preference)
Knee and elbow pads (demo gear available on a first-come-first-served basis)
This group lesson is a welcoming space to build your skills and confidence so you can enjoy the downhilling and BikeFest to the fullest. A full-face helmet is mandatory* for your safety. Rentals are available via the resort. All genders welcome, ages 18+

All genders welcome, ages 18+. Lift pass and equipment rentals are not included in your registration for this StokedMTB group lesson. You are responsible for your own lift ticket(s).
*For this lesson, full face helmets are mandatory and you will not be able to participate without a full-face helmet. By registering for this lesson, you agree to this condition. Rental helmets are available at Horseshoe Resort.
