Ready to start getting some air under your tires? Join us for a 2-hour group lesson to learn how to send drops safely at BikeFest at Horseshoe Bike Park on Saturday, September 14!

Meet-up: Meet at the StokedMTB tent at 15 minutes prior to start time, ready to roll with your bike, full face-face helmet and lift pass.

Our Jumps 101 skills clinic is designed for riders looking to build confidence and learn the fundamentals of jumping. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the essentials of body position, take-off, and landing. Get ready to elevate your riding and experience the thrill of airtime in a safe and supportive environment.

What to Expect:

  1. Progressive jump training, starting small and building up

  2. Technique and timing for jumping with feedback and tips from experienced instructors.

  3. Compensating for variations in size, speed and shape of jumps.

  4. Small group size for optimal learning and feedback opportunities.

What You Need:

  1. A mountain bike suitable for downhill riding, in good working order (disc brakes, knobby tires wider than 2”, and either full suspension or hardtail with suspension fork)

  2. A lift pass for Horseshoe Bike Park (not included)

  3. For your safety, a full-face helmet is mandatory* for this lesson.

  4. Mountain biking shoes and pedals (flats recommended, clipless if it’s your preference)

  5. Knee and elbow pads (demo gear available on a first-come-first-served basis)

This lesson is a welcoming space to build your skills and confidence so you can enjoy the downhilling and BikeFest to the fullest. A full-face helmet is mandatory* for your safety. Rentals are available via the resort. All genders welcome, ages 18+.

*For this lesson, full face helmets are mandatory and you will not be able to participate without a full-face helmet. By registering for this lesson, you agree to this condition. Rental helmets are available at Horseshoe Resort.

All genders welcome, ages 18+. Lift pass and equipment rentals are not included in your registration for this StokedMTB group lesson. You are responsible for your own lift ticket(s).
