Time: 1:30PM-3:30PM
Location: Horseshoe Bike Park
Meet-up: Meet at the StokedMTB tent at 1:15 sharp, ready to roll with your bike, full face-face helmet and lift pass.

This session is designed for beginner and intermediate level riders seeking to improve their cornering skills so they can carry their speed through corners, blast around berms and maximize the fun in every curve.

What to Expect:

  • Choosing Your Line: Learn how to pick the best line through flat and bermed corners.

  • Leaning the Bike: Discover the proper technique for leaning your bike to maximize control.

  • Maintaining Momentum: Find out how to corner efficiently to keep your speed and flow.

  • Take the Swerve Out of Your Curve: Hone your cornering skills and ride smoother than ever.

  • Small group size for optimal learning and feedback opportunities

What You Need:

  • A mountain bike suitable for downhill riding, in good working order (disc brakes, knobby tires wider than 2”, and either full suspension or hardtail with suspension fork)

  • A lift pass for Horseshoe Bike Park (not included)

  • A full-face helmet (very strongly recommended)

  • Mountain biking shoes and pedals (flats recommended, clipless if it’s your preference)

  • Knee and elbow pads (demo gear available on a first-come-first-served basis)

This women’s group lesson is a welcoming space to build your skills and confidence so you can enjoy the Women’s DH Festival to the fullest. A full-face helmet is very strongly recommended for your safety. Rentals are available via the resort.
